I can’t find a fault with the statements within your post..
You have a good understanding of how doctors work with Medicare so far. Maybe a reader may take this as Medicare is a not a good place to be? This concerns me as I see these rules from both sides and they are designed to help protect seniors not punish them. I think the more we talk about these plans the better the patient is informed and can only help others in the future. Problem is, no one seems to care until such an event has already passed them by. Then I have to try to help them the best way I can.
All the Best!
Thank you MM!
I just signed up with a group of Drs (as my primary care phys) that do take both under-65's & they accept medicare (for the over-65 group).
That is about all I know about this referred group so far........ as I am new in the area. However, it was good to be reassured they won't 'boot me out' when I turn 65! (nor refuse me, since I'll already be a 'regular' by then)
..... at least I hope/think they will be fine, based on the referral.
You have been most helpful MM. I do appreciate it.
