I have Secure Horizons Advantage plan through AARP. I have yet to receive a statement for the Prescriptions to show where I am and how much negoicated drug plan prices are this year "09". I call SH and they send me to Rx Connections. They both point the finger back at eachother which is suppose to put out this statement. Meanwhile I go and pick up my scrips and find that I have already fallen into the doughnut hole [The ABYSS]. Anyone know who to talk to or what to do to get SH to get our statements sent out in a timely manner? Noone should have to spend 20 minutes and 2 phone calls just to find out where you are in the system. GAG
I know the feeling! AARP used to have United Health Group for D .UHG gave me a hard time and eventually I got somebody in AARP from Green Bay who helped,but I must have spent hours on the phone and emails to UHG even after I had gone through the full Appeal process and got a positive statement from them! I'm still not sure the help I got from AARP wasn't related to the change time approaching that year.
It's a pity that the process is so adverserial.Good luck and don't let them rest.
