I would have to agree with you.
Thank you for the support.
It amazes me how no one in government seems to have any backbone. Everyone is running in fear of the insurance industry and their Harriet and Louise commercials. This is a pariah industry that is wide open to attack if anyone has any spine left in them in Washington.
I'm guessing that the best we get is an acknowledgement that healthcare is a right and an insurance based system that will be at the mercy of providers over cost and that will suffer an even worse fate than we are having now, since the accumulated care of the uninsured will add to the rate of cost increase.
We are an arrogant lot. We have a few dozen really good healthcare systems scattered all over the world, that we could learn from, but we ignore their vast store of knowledge and try to go the way the lobbyist push us. Too bad and it will cost us trillions and many jobs as our industry falters in competing with other coun tries that do things right.
We lost a lot when we lost Hillary in the primaries.
