Hi everyone! I just had to find out if anyone knew that nursing homes, assisted living homes and retirement home was throwing our tax dollars away. If the doctor change a patient meds, a patient is discharged or dies. All their meds must be thorn away, according to the FDA. This a waste of tax payer dollars. We need to put the heat on our elected officials I'm including a link to the story. We could have those meds at public clinic where they will do some good. And they want to know why our drinking water has so much prescription drugs in it. Please share this with Everyone.
Hello, this is really a waste of our tax money and not good for the environment. At my job drugs are thrown down the drain. Sometimes when a prescription is changed and there are plenty of meds left, they go down the drain. I feel that someone else could use these meds. There is nothing wrong with them, just the dose or whatever was changed for the person taking them. FDA needs to rethink this. If there is a drug that really needs to be disposed of there should be a better way of doing it.
