1. Check to make sure you are on the right Medicare D plan depending upon your medications.
2. Check with your doctor to see if there might be a cheaper medication that will do the same job.
3. Ask the drug manufacturer to evaluate your need for a monetary subsidy on the medication(s).
4. Buy the meds through Canadian sources - although it will not be covered by Med D plan.
Depending upon the medication, it could have a huge cost to recover.
