In Response to RE: Check your Medicare D and other plans NOW. by toddtee
Obviously I missed that"never ever" this time, but after having changed plans several times in many previous years with no problem, I had enough trouble determining the best option for my wife's D for'10 so I needed an alert from Medicare or the insurer for that differance that I didn't get. I think that there quite a few my age who give up even going through that analysis every Nov. to determine the best plan for the next year . My wife would be one and the insurers take full advantage by hiking rates knowing most people will go along.
I asked a rep. why they didn't include anything about the disenrollment or a form in their info and of course the answer is they don't want people to leave their plan.
