That's exactly what I did. This was one of the first groups I joined when I first got on here. I still had 4 yrs before going on MediCare. You're so right about a ton of info and how it can be soooo confusing. The MediCare website wasn't really any help, of course. But one person who no longer posts here do to harrassment understood exactly my predicament.
I was fortunate because my retirement insurance automatically became my MediGap. Prescription also remained the same. The medical portion information my employer sent me was a ton of stuff and they didn't make it in big letters that I didn't need to do a thing but agree to have MediCare, so I researched and even attended a sales talk. LOL
