"It's hard to imagine how different our kids lives will be from ours."
It's the same for our generation! The TV, transistor radio, jet aircraft, computers, man on the moon, etc....
What corks me off about reading about my family's 260 years of genealogy here in the US is that you keep seeing born, died, married, kids and that's all... What did they do with their lives? Where's the pictures? Let's put some meat on the bones... lol
Then it me that I'm guilty too... I had no written record of what I've been doing with my life. No pictures, recordings, just a bunch of junk that someone sorting through probably couldn't make heads or tails of... Just a big puzzle for someone to try and figure out...
At my age now (62) I strive to label each picture and write in my journal everything that I can remember and everything that's been going on and I encourage every genealogist to do the same... Put some meat on them bones!
