Hello, everone. I am a freelance writer and reporter. I'm working on a story about free lunch seminars--how to tell if they are legitimate, how to tell if they are scams (warning signs), what to do if you're getting high-pressure sales pitches, what to do if you've invested and lose money or want out, where to report scams, etc. I'm on a tight deadline, so I need to talk to some people soon. I'm looking for experts and lunch attendees to share their insights and experiences.
The story is for the Credit Union National Association. CUNA produces a variety of consumer-facing publications. This story is for the Home and Family Finance Resource Center, an online clearinghouse of consumer finance articles.
