I recently discovered that I have a lot of trouble finding understanding for people who leave their spouses for no real apparent reason.
I know a woman who left her husband because she wanted to "find herself." She couldn't actually list anything that her spouse had done to create this need in her; she was just tired of being married to him and wanted to experience another lifestyle.
And, this isn't the ONLY case that I've heard of like this.
Since I was on the receiving-end of that kind of divorce, I'm just not as sympathetic as I would be to the spouse that she left. Does that make sense?
Have you ever had a friend/relative leave their spouse for no "real" reason? How did you handle it?
