My very first job was delivering telephone books, white pages and yellow pages, in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1966 at age 17. My Mom drove me around my assigned neighborhood, "Storybook Acres" which had wonderful street names like Peter Pan Lane, Cinderella Drive, and Goofy Avenue. For every white and yellow pages book I delivered, I was paid 5 cents and for each previous edition year I picked up I got 3 cents. I delivered over 150 phone books and received about $245 the whole six weeks I worked. It was great fun and I was and still am a huge Walt Disney fan.
