Hey all just wanted to get something going on this group site. I do hope everyone has a great weekend and I thought maybe we could post here next week what we did over the weekend. Nothing depressing guys, go out and do something terrific for yourself or someone else. This little homework assignment won't cost anything, I know how we are all strapped for cash, but go out and make a difference this weekend. I am looking forward to seeing what all transpired this weekend. Love ya all - Sam
Well I did end up going out on Saturday Night and the Farmers Market in Clermont on Sunday but the event that I went to on Saturday Night in downtown Orlando I may offend some people if I write about my expereinces and I certainly don't want to offend anyone. If you would like to read more you may want to check out the un-edited version of My Weekend at this groups page on the AARP site Gay Marriage or Domestic Partnership http://www.aarp.org/community/groups/GaymarriageorDomesticPrtnr
But you don't have to go over there and read the whole posting, and trust me it is something that I would let my Father and Mother read so it should not offend really anyone, but some individuals are not comfortable with certain aspects of my lifestyle and I respect that.
In short I had a great time this weekend, I figured I should not wait for life to happen to me, that its about time I create some happenings in my life. I went out of my way to help an individual stranded on the side of the road, and I started the book "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle" by David Wroblewski. (I left that last part out over at the other groups site, so you see you have an advantage). LOL
Anyway I hope that you all had a great weekend, I hope that you either did something good for yourself or someone else. I hope everyone has a great and productive week. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your group and we have to remember to thank AARP for providing such a great site to share our thoughts and feelings.
