I planted garlic last year in November. It came up well, but I have heard and seen that it needs to produce flowers that seed (they are strange looking!). My garlic did not produce flowers, and the bulbs so far are very small...more like really BIG green onions. It may have been store bought garlic. Someone said that was OK to plant. Any tips on this?
Also, my second question is: I stored some bulbs (organic) in my frig. They started to sprout, so I planted those. I figured "no harm, no foul". Any idea if this will come up?
I know someone on here plants garlic and loves it as much as I do. Last night I sauteed garlic in some butter and added some turnip greens. YUM!
