I live in the St. Louis/Metro area. I am familiar with many Missouri and some Illinois wineries. In the Midwest the dry red is made from Norton/Cynthiana grape. Does anyone know of a good Norton or Chamborcin for that matter that is exceptional?
I don't. But I wish I did. But if you're ever in Bryan/College Station, TX, stop on by, and we'll have some excellent Port made from the local "Black Spanish" lenoir grape. One of my favorites.
