After a few mis-starts, I have been vegan-ish (still working on eliminating cheese) since February. I am looking forward to my regular Dr.'s appt. May 10 to see how my various health numbers have changed. I know I lost weight!
There has been lots of talk about veganism on TV lately: Dr. Oz, Oprah, Ellen, to name a few. The only claim they make that I have issues with is "you can eat as much as you want"! It is possible to vegan and not eat healthily. Potato chips and jelly beans are vegan.
I would be interested to know and share with any other Fat2Fitters who are vegan/vegetarian.
My favorite vegan books: The Engine 2 Diet by Rip Esselstyn and Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes.
