In Response to Lent Can Help You Lose Weight by johnwhyte
I have meatless/fish meas every Wednesday and Friday during Lent. I used to give up candy and desserts but have lost my taste for them so only eat them maybe once a month.
I belong to Weight Watchers and last month we had an emphasis on always have a healthy snack, preferably fruit or vegetables with us so we are tempted o stop for something that doesn't support our weight loss. I moved the fruit bowl to a small table I have at the door to my garage so I grab something when I'm on my way out. Those candy bars at the grocery checkout line don't look so good knowing I have something in the car.
