In Response to Not being able to exercise by Letajoan
You've received some good advice here about not cutting your calories too low (1,000). I've been advised by medical professionals (repeatedly) that a daily caloric allowance of 1,200 is about as low as one should go. This number of calories will provide adequate nutrition but not cause weight gain. And for many of us, this number (1,200)--when combined with exercise--is consistent with weight loss.
And aren't setbacks disappointing? I can sympathize with you. Many of us, myself included, have experienced UFOs (Unanticipated Fitness Obstacles) and worked our way back. You will too. We're cheering for you.
