This documentary was released about 2 months ago, but has had such good response the local art house has kept it for a long time.
This is the story of James Blalog's quest to record the actual movement of the northern ice cap - primarily in Greenland, Iceland and Alaska. The first part of the film shows the initial efforts of Blalog and his team to set up durable cameras in god forsaken places to conduct long term observation of glacial movement.
The latter half of the movie shows the results, which are breathtaking, and will prove beyond a doubt the reality of global warming.
Far more subtle than "An Inconvenient Truth" the film makers let the evidence display their point. It is unsettling, but beautifully filmed and worth the time to seek it out.
