moved to nederland last month and i was wondering that i am coverd with my health insurance company but sence i reserch about nederlamd and i found as below
No doctor in Holland will provide better care than is allowed by law. There is no private system in parallel to the public one.
the law requires that one takes the DUTCH mandatory insurance, usually within 3 months of arrival. So a foreign one would be redundant. None oen wants to pay double premiums.
if one would have a foreign health care insurance, one will still have to try to get the providers to sent well specified invoices. That is very problematic here, as most providers are not set up for that and usually simply drag their feet with sending any invoices at all. If one gets an invoice it usually misses essential information.
My best advice to expats going to Holland, who have a secondary foreign insurance, is to drive regularly to Germany, if one has bot the mandatory Dutch insurance and the foreign one, and get one's much better private health care there, since Germany still has a dual private/public system."
now i am cofuse about my international health insurance and i am trying to review it please advise best company for nederland as posted list before and current mine one
