The holidays are just around the corner. Seems like summer was just yesterday, doesn't it?
As you may have heard in the news, there's bee a lot of backlash against new TSA security rules. Full-body screeners and more invasive pat-down procedures have many travelers saying "no more."
Not to mention reduced capacity and an increase in travelers means that passengers are being packed into airplanes like sardines.
So how about you? Is traveling during the holidays getting too stressful? Are you driving instead of flying? Postponing the family get together until after the holidays?
If you are flying this holiday season, my advice is very simple: get to the airport early! I'm talking two hours for domestic and three hours for international.
If you haven't booked your flights yet, look for the earliest flight out so you don't get caught up in an avalanche of delays. Book through warm-weather cities whenver possible and make sure you leave yourself enough connection time--at least an hour, preferably more. Better to have to kill time at the airport than stress over missing your connection altogether.
