Some matchmakers, apparently like the one I used & Patti Stanger, get that information from clients, but then have a "We know what's best for you" attitute. Matchmakers can have the same biases professionally, that they have as individuals, and that can override what the client very clearly says they want.
I very clearly said that I was looking for a "life companion", so why would a matchmaker think that men whose workaholism caused previous marriage to fail, would be good candidates?!
Just sticking to "Millionaire Matchmaker", don't you think that a $25K "membership fee" should entitle the client to more personalized & extensive evaluations of potential dates, than her cattle call interviews?
