In Response to Re: PBS Masterpiece Theater The Lady Vanishes:
I watched it as well. The "Hitchcock" treatment was in evidence...I wondered how many times it would take one to the brink, then pull back just a little to build the suspense. I had forgotten just how much I loved those old Hitchcock mysteries.
I thought it was well done. I enjoyed seeing Selina Cadell and Stephanie Cole...both of them characters in the "Doc Marten" series...Cadell as the chemist and Cole as Marten's elderly aunt. Stephanie Cole has her "longish" hairstyle back...I think she looks younger with a shorter hairdo...but that's just me. Selina Cadell was the "vanishing lady"...what a chatterbox! I think I'd want to make her vanish if I were stuck on a plane next to her! LOL! All kidding aside, it's nice to have a break from the usual assortment of summer reruns and British mysteries are my favorite.

Hi Mimi. Nice to see you.
I have always loved Hitchcock having seen his shows growing up and yes this featured the same kind of suspense and I really enjoyed the train setting as I love train travel and it was great seeing this old style train.
