In Response to RE: Chickens coming home to roost? by gonefishin27
I congratulate you on the hilarious and Bachmann-esque creativity of using the terms "good" and "conservative" in the same sentence.
This is not to say I'm any more fooled than you, by AARP's true nature as a for-profit seller of our information to Insurance companies - thus exploiting (as well as admitting) what they see as "gullible seniors."
It's just that you're VERY wrong in assuming seniors don't see what the rest of America is beginning to realize: the corporate domination of what's supposed to be a democracy, and their predatory finncial and social exploitation of American taxpayers, and what USED to be their government - WAY back when it began.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE STATES - AND FOLLOW THE MONEY.
WHERE ARE THE HANDCUFFS AND PERPWALKS ON WALL STREET?
WHERE ARE THE CLAWBACKS OF ALL THE PROFITS STOLEN FROM US?
We should NOT be accepting our "losses" from the recession, when they're PROVABLY SOMEONE ELSE'S GAIN! AND, when that "someone" has the power to create "credit crunches" and "recessions" for their own benefit.
In ten years Republicans and "conservatives" will be as scarce as hen's teeth - the 0.2% of America who actually benefit from such a philosophy.
