I'm just launching a new technology blog called thetechnologyteaser.com. The blog is described as a blog of opinion and context with a dollop of humor. I invite you read and comment upon my thoughts and musings.
There was no television in our household until I was six. I recall that the first television we had had a five-inch cathode ray tube diagonal screen that took a while to heat up before the picture appeared. I loved looking inside the box which was filled with glowing tubes and hard soldered wires which sometimes radiated a burnt insulation smell. There were large knob controls on the front for horizontal and vertical hold adjustments. To confirm a change of channels there was a distinct mechanical click sound that could not be altered in a device's preference software.
I mention my early experience with television to make a point. I've seen a lot of technological change which alternatively amazes, amuses and sometimes even discourages me. I hope I will be able to adequately express these sensitivities to my readers as the blog evolves over time.
Once again I invite you take a look and comment.
