According to the 2000 census, almost 26% of households were singles living along, 9.2% of them 65+. Another 12% were female single heads-of-household.
Yet I would bet that 95% of the people/families featured in financial magazine articles are married, and most have dependent children as well.
Do you feel the people profiled are representative of the general population .. representative of YOU .. or just representative of the demographic the editors think are their primary readers?
