In Response to Most voters want their state to oppose Obama Care:
This thread is meaningless because most voters don't understand Obamacare and know virtually nothing about it. They've gotten all of their limited information from the right wing media assault against the ACA the past 3 years. Here are some things to consider:
- As mentioned above, most voters know very little about the law, so takng a position against something you don't understand is absurd.
- Obamacare will have little or no impact on over 80% of Americans who already have health insurance. The big change for them is FREE Preventive Care.
- 95% of Americans don't even realize the bill really doesn't kick in until January 1, 2014. Until those new State Health Exchanges have been operating for at least two years, we won't know if this law is successful.
- Finally, the law has a number of flaws but we can fix them over the next couple of years if the Republicans ever wake up and show some interest in providing health care to millions of Americans.

Of course this topic is meaningless, just like most by the Cons here. They attempt to throw garbage on the wall, just to see what sticks. Your points are all excellent one's, CeeTee. I doubt you'll receive a thoughtful and knowledgable responsefrom any of the Cons though.

What is amazing is the RWs inability to recognize how easy it is to debunk their tripe - guess they're still getting orders from Old Whiteguys who haven't picked up on the internet.
