Is it my imagination or are the Wingers' posts getting wackier and wackier?

No it is not your imagination. The wingers posts and sayings are getting wackier all the time. This is because they probably realize that they have lost the war on Obamacare. The exchanges are active and the coverage became effective. More people every day are enrolling and discovering for themselves that the ACA benefits them while those who have good employer coverage and Medicare are seeing very little effect of the ACA. The right knows that any repeal is dead for good. But I wouldn't be surprised if some crazies in the House of Representatives will try to pass a repeal motion again.
The right has also lost the "culture war" as same sex marriages are now becoming legal in more states and there is widespread acceptance of gays as well as alternative life styles. Even the pope has said "who am I to judge?". They also realize that the GOP has very little hope of winning the white house in 2016 as long as they continue on the course the party has been on for the past six years. But the GOP leadership is afraid that their "base" will desert the party if they make compromises with the president.
My guess is that if the Democratic party retains control of the senate and somehow manages to turn the 17 seats needed to re-take the House for the tea party and the GOP; it will be all over except for the crying.

Then perhaps the time has come for the Republicans to understand that they have to divest themselves from all of these extremists, if they want to obtain anything in government. The results of these coming elections will provide all of us with the course of the Republican Party in 2016. My only worry is that they have too much money, and people when they are ok, they forget to vote especially the Democrats,
