Was the second driver at fault for following the first driver into the car wash? Perhaps the first driver drove to get away, but the second one was so angry that he wanted to settle the argument. The first driver may have felt that he had to protect himself and his family if they were in his car. There was an incident a few months ago in Chicago when 2 robbers entered a small store. After pointing a gun at the owner, the owner grabbed a baseball bat to protect himself. He was shot, but a relative shot one of the robbers who limped out of the store. The owner survived, but the police were able to capture the robber who was shot. Were the shop owners irresponsible for protecting themselves? Should they have just handed over their money and any items that the robbers wanted? Perhaps they should have just put up their hands and accepted death. It's time that decent citizens be allowed to protect themselves.
