In Response to Re: Syrian Rebels Lobby Washington behind the Scenes:
How do we know who these rebels are? Are they just young adults demanding freedom and democracy or are they infiltrated with militants who would like to turn Syria into a strict Islamic state? Could it be that all these dictators are vicious and should be deposed, or are they trying to control all the diverse groups and militants who want to overthrow a democratic form of government?
We don't know, but to become involved in another civil and religious strife can lean to another war for the US. Who are we fighting, on which side? We've lost much in a decade of senseless wars that haven't brought peace to Iraq or Afghanistan. It seems that the war hawks tell us that we're going to war to liberate people, but it seems it's purely for the profits of big corporations and military contractors. The American people had better wake-up because these wars are doing nothing to defend our national security.

In my opinion I really don't care who these individuals are. they want the US to intervene, because apparently we are the only "naive" country that would.
We need to understand, that we cannot save the world. there will always be parts of the world, countries, that will not ever be like the US. will not even accept our own way of life, and our democracy.
And we have a lot of problems in our own country that really need our attention at this time. It was different during WWII when one country was actually swallowing the rest of Europe. and also let's not forget Pearl Harbor. we were actually attacked.not as a terrorist attack but as a military operation by another country.
Now is time to let the world know that guess what, is their responsibility. not ours their way or life, the goverment that they will have and how they conduct their country and their business.
