In Response to Re: An Unstoppable Climb in C.E.O. Pay:
"...Put a stop to any corporation who takes our tax dollars and doesn't hire, doesn't pay employee benefits for healthcare insurance in full or retirement. How else do you think they found a way to afford these constant rising salaries?...".
Now, c'mon. How do you "put a stop" to a multinational corporation???

You are right.. corporations have already or are in the process of establishing truly global operations. They are constantly looking to the future of their operations. Other countries have been only too happy to accomodate new factories and the income and revenue they bring. They have big populations who can use the jobs and are helpful in regard to health and safety regulations, taxes and in many other ways. You can still benefit from these corporations if you hold stock or are employed by them but the future is not encouraging. It is like the fighting between states here in the US that want to lure a company to their area. They have no concern for the people of the other state and the company goes where it is best for them to go. Corporations have brains but not hearts.
