Individuals and Womens Rights groups among others are gearing up in these States for 2014.
The "Shock Doctrine" used by Ohio to have no discussion or public input by underminding women's right in OH was terrible. There covert war indicates how fearful these legislatures are to face the public.
There is a "somewhat satirical" video floating around about Ohio's covert war. http://feministing.com/2013/07/08/how-the-ohio-abortion-restrictions-affect-your-vagina/ In Response to Re: Women's Heathcare - this should make them smile!:

Good news out of North Dakota. Their abortion law was struck down after a 3 day trial. Curious that this is not headlines in US??? This from the GuardianUK: The Judge (Corwin) ruling looked at the "stark" alternative to safe and legal abortion and cited World Health Organisation data on illegal abortions, which show that on a global basis, unsafe abortions kill 470,000 women a year. It contrasted unsafe, illegal abortions with medicated abortions performed by physicians in accordance with the type of "evidence-based protocol" followed by the Red Rover Women's clinic.

And this from the Bismark North Dakota Tribune:
North Dakota already has spent more than $52,000 defending the 2011 state law, according to records obtained by The Associated Press. Records show that Dr. Donna Harrison, the president the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, has billed the state more than $49,000 to act as an expert witness.
In his ruling Monday, Corwin was highly critical of Harrison, saying her "opinions lack scientific support , tend to be based on unsubstantiated concerns and are generally at odds with solid medical evidence."

Very good news indeed, except for the fact the Fundie-driven GOPers will NEVER accept reality and stop passing even more idiotic laws. I expect their anti-Women legislation to increase as the current spate of such legislation gets thrown out by the courts- consider Texas reaction to being beaten last week - and these ninnies claim President Obama is "shoving things down THEIR throats".
Continuing to pass such swill makes their moronic base positively gleeful AND it allows the GOPers to totally ignore anything that might correct the economic mess their stupidity got us into and keeps us there.
