It's not in NJ either. Yet, our GOP Governor was vehemently against raising the minimum wage. It was on the NJ ballot in November this year and he was outvoted. Christie fools no one. He prattles on and on and on how raising the minimum wage is going to bankrupt "business." There's that word again..."business." Since when is "business" more important than taxpayers? I can see helping the small businesses in our state. But Walmart? Every time a Walmart moves into NJ, Christie cuts the property for them and up it goes for individual property owners. Walmart in NJ pays $11 per sq. ft in taxes. Our small businesses pay $17. Yet, it's Christie who kisses up to Walmart who forces taxpayers to help pay for the welfare their employees are forced to get from the federal government. Walmart needs more help? Since when?
