Alotofgrey...You forgot one...when wealthy men don't learn to live on their incomes, they always expect others to give more to increase their wealth. More civilizations have collapsed because of too wealthy men who believed their financial power to be autonomous control over populations.
The reality in the US today is almost, but not quite, amusing. The wealth is beginning to stagnate. Those offshore jobs that jacked economies in other nations is coming back to bite hard on the Chief Decision Makers. It proves that men are totally fallible creatures who cannot be relied upon for infallibility when it comes to decisions regarding profit and wealth.
One of the things I knew was going to happen with those offshored American jobs was that Americans would realized that imports would necessarily be priced out of their range once the jobs were gone here in the US. Obviously, the Big Bois at the top didn't take this into consideration. They just assumed they could ramp up unemployment in the US and by the wave of a magic wand also increase the cost of imported goods and who'd be the wiser? Who'd be the wiser? Nearly every Middle Class American, that's who. Every Middle Class American fed up watching the 1% get their taxes reduced while ours increase to make up for those losses. The 1% know there will not be another tax cut for a very long time. Hence, their insistence upon the austerity regime of the GOP. By inflicting austerity on the masses, profits soar. And isn't that exactly what's happening? Corporate profits are soaring while personal income is taking the hit? That's not part of every world economy...It's a back room agenda of neoconic ideologues who know exactly what austerity on the masses will do for them and do it limitlessly unless the Middle Class learns to "just say NO." At some point, working class Americans have figured out that they will not pay $25 for a can of imported tuna. They'll just learn to do without. Funny when you think about which class is imposing this austerity only to have it bite them in their dumb butts.
