".... this was secretive gratitude but one can see intuitively..."
It appears you believe we should rely on secret sources and your intuition.
Lots of luck!
In Response to Werner: Re: Netanyahu Scoffs at Iranian Overtures, Setting Stage for Showdown With U.S.:
"....having used them twice before (nuclear & chemical)..."
Please tell us when and where Saddam used NUCLEAR weapons. It was a mis-statement that he used nuclear weapons -- rather, he was developing them and many area nations were very grateful the Israelis took it out; this was secretive gratitude but one can see intuitively that the Arab world would have coalesced against Israel if they had opposed the operation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halabja_poison_gas_attack March 16, 1988 genocidal attack against the Kurdish minority, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction: In the early 1970s, Saddam Hussein ordered the creation of a clandestine nuclear weapons program. Iraq's weapons of mass destruction programs were assisted by a wide variety of firms and governments in the 1970s and 1980s. As part of Project 922, German firms such as Karl Kobe helped build Iraqi chemical weapons facilities such as laboratories, bunkers, an administrative building, and first production buildings in the early 1980s under the cover of a pesticide plant
Your credibility in these threads is on the line. Hey, Werner --- now it's your turn. You ridiculed the idea that 'Dubya' could have ever thought Iraq had WMD. Now you have seen, for the 50th time since you are a reader, undisputed information contradicting your statement and what do you do? You change the subject to whether they USED Nuclear weapons, & just take a powder on your false facts. Let's pull your own credibility out of the trash can, please. Acknowledge your own misstatement. Can you handle that? I hope so because the dialog is otherwise constructive. "...Do you really think Dubya was stupid enough to believe there were WMDs in Iraq? ..."
