In Response to Re: Congress Passes Debt Deal:
Well, there wasn't really much of a deal. Obama tossed the Republicans a small bone and the dems kicked the can down the road again. We are headed for a serious Sovereign Debt crisis with in the next 10 years or so unless some serious spending constraints are put in place and we begin paying down the debt. So we can deal with the pain now or have seriously more pain down the road. It appears that the dems have chosen more pain down the road.

Didn't you claim the sequester was Obama's idea? Didn't the Dems agree to GOP budget cuts earlier this year? Aren't taxes near a 60 year low?
60-year-low tax revenues contribute to deficit growth
Of course that's from the Liberal-rag, WashingtonTimes <smirk>, so who can trust it? And yes, it's 2 years old, but the fact remains, lower taxes do in fact contribute to deficit growth....
