In Response to Re: D.C. TURNS ON OBAMA:
I doubt that the AARP would pay much attention to someone who uses such bad grammar and has the spelling ability of a 2nd grader. An intelligent person who has trouble spelling could at least use the spell check in the edit box. Unfortunately there is no grammar check included.
The topics are only monitored for abuse of the TOS not the topic content. In other words they give everyone the right to express themselves with free speech. If you want to read the TOS to see what it contains, just scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "terms of service". They are the rules you should abide by as determined by AARP, and if you don't like them you can complain or go elsewhere. Since it appears you don't like any of the topics posted by those on the right maybe you would be happier to find another forum. Yes these are called "forums" not "forms", and they have "monitors" not "montors" and your grammar is a "disgrace" not a "discrase", to the English lqanguage. One must wonder if you are from some other Country and are just learning English. If so my appology for the harsh criticism of your spelling, but you can still use the spell check provided in the software edit box. Betty, CM one of the Administrators here, is doing a good job so far and doesn't need your cynical criticism that is completely off base and out of context. She seems to be a very nice person and I'm sure if you send her a polite message with your grievances she will respond in kind.

And I doubt that anyone would want to wade through a string of quoted posts just to read yours. And a person who lives in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones, don't you think? I looked and looked in the dictionary but couldn't find this word 'lqanguage' or this one 'appology'. If you have assumed the title of language [note the spelling] and spelling police, perhaps you should make sure yours is impeccable.
For some reason it seems that several here are playing up to the Community Moderators who are supposed to be unbiased. But then again that question has been raised many times before. But for a non-profit organization aren't their employees supposed to be politically neutral? Isn't that what the flap at the IRS is about. JUST SAYING.
