The mindset of some of our politicians is to have government operating like a corporation. Here's the slippery slope of that kind of thinking. If the government is a corporation...we become employees of that corporation. It's this kind of slippery slope that has the potential to destroy government based on the voice of the people.
And, what on earth makes these politicians believe that corporations ALL operate so efficiently, so productively, so profitably? They don't as we saw in September when one after another major US bank failed.
Do we as Americans want politicians to ALL be CEOs? The huge danger in putting businessmen in too many places in government jobs is that they use their corporate strategies against we, their employees.
There may be Americans who accept the idea that it's okay to turn over our paychecks to the Great American Corporate Government, I am not one of them. My taxes pay THEIR salaries. The day Americans allow these politicians to forget this, is the day you've turned yourself into just what they wanted all along...an employee of their corporate government. How then will Americans like being told what they can and can't do with their incomes? How then we will enjoy quality of life when as corporate government employees we are told what that quality of life can be? Out with democracy? In with corporatocracy? BS to that.
