I have seen for sale lately a water resistant bag to put your kindle, iPad, etc. in. I have thought about using a zip lock bag like I saw a woman doing last year. Floating in the pool and reading sounds nice. Would hate to try it and find out it doesn't work!!!!
I have a stack of books purchased from half.com, a list of books coming from the library, and a bunch of free kindle books waiting on my iPad mini. I think I'm all set for a while. My list of favorite authors is growing.
In Response to Re: What-Cha been reading this summer?:
YES! I love having a stack of books, and kind of go into a panic when there is only one left in the pile.
HA! Once in a while when a bug flies at me and I jump, I get a few drops of water on the book, but I've been pretty lucky and I've been doing it for at least 10 summers, maybe more. I always keep a Ziploc bag in my pool bag in case it starts to rain! That has happened a lot this summer! I certainly will not bring my Kindle Fire out to the pool. Replacing a book would be a lot cheaper than replacing that! I also read in the tub! Nancy
