Maybe this is the right place to submit. As I said you have to have an issue to discuss. Here is one.
For years I listened to NPR in the morning and evening during my 1 hour drive to work and donated every 6 months to their funddrives. Since I retired I got to thinking. How much money does NPR really need? Do they collect more donations than they hoped for? If they get more than a minimum, what do they do with the extra dough. I recently heard an interview with a NPR worker and she was bragging about her bonuses.
So , I do not donate anymore. I wrote them about this subject a couple of times but never got a reply.
Anyway, it is good to hear from the "old gang". I am going on 87 years old but still get around and still oil painting. I don't know if this will register. We shall see.
