Hi--I haven't heare anything from you for a while--how's Opie? Did you get the pet carriage yet? I've been walking Magic and Midnight on a leash, and they're getting used to it, and getting used to all the sounds--like cars going by and people walking and talking. I wonder if this would be an option for you and Opie.
You mentioned you have spine problems--well when my back is hurting, it is literally a pain in the back to bend and scoop out the litter box, so I brought out my son's old "pee-pee stool". It is just a little metal stool that's about twelve inches high. I originally bought it for when my son was first learning how to use the "big boy's toilet. He wasn't tall enough to stand in front of the toilet and make pee-pee, and he wasn't tall enough to stand in front of the sink to wash his hands or brush his teeth. So I went to the store and bought the little stool. Anyway, it is just the right height to sit on when scooping out the litter box. I thought the idea might help you. Ann
