Good afternoon, The land that is now know as Isreal was once know as Judea--?I happen to be very familiar with the King James Version of the Holy Bible and although I am a Christian I do read the Old Testament as part of my studies. From my interpretation of the Bible the Israelites first arrived in what we now call Palestine after the Egyptian exodus. Once in Palestine they broke off into two warring camps, one settled in Judea and the other encamped in Samaria.Judea is only referenced once in the bible and this is the verse:(Ezra 5:8 KJV) Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands. From the above verse it is clear that Judea existed before they arrived in this region. Which suggests that the land was occupied by the Israelites but it was not founded by them? And since this region is only mentioned once it must not have been very significant and their stay in this region did not last for very long. Having said that, it would be a stretch to claim this land was their original “home”. And last but not least the geographic location of Judea is never articulated and it would be a guess as to its real location. To suggest that Judea is now part of the West Bank or Gaza is just that, a guess.Samaria is another region now being claimed by the Israelis. I have researched this as well and the claim appears invalid. For starters biblically Samaria was a hill, not a region.(1 Ki 16:24 KJV) And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria. Then we have this passage:(1 Ki 16:29 KJV) And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years. In the above passage Israel is a tribe of Israelites and this tribe occupied the hill called Samaria and even here I find it improbable that this could be called the original Israelite “home”.There are many passages where various Israelite kings ruled over Samaria and in every case the kings was murdered by another Israelite who ruled for a short period before being killed by another Israelite who then ruled for a period of time, measured in a few years or even a few months. And in every case the Lord called these killings a “sin”.(2 Ki 14:23 KJV) In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria, and reigned forty and one years.(2 Ki 15:8 KJV) In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.(2 Ki 15:13 KJV) Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.(2 Ki 15:17 KJV) In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.(2 Ki 15:23 KJV) In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.(2 Ki 15:27 KJV) In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.(2 Ki 17:1 KJV) In the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah began Hoshea the son of Elah to reign in Samaria over Israel nine years.(2 Ki 17:6 KJV) In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.(2 Ki 17:7 KJV) For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,(2 Ki 17:8 KJV) And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.(2 Ki 17:9 KJV) And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.In the end the Israelites were driven off of this hill called Samaria and cast out, (a common theme in the Bible), but still Samaria was not the original “home” of the Israelites. And last but not least the geographic location of Samaria is never articulated and it would be a guess as to its real location. To suggest that Samaria is now part of the West Bank or Gaza is just that, a guess.Does this false claim give the Israelis the right to push out the indigenous people by assassinations, intimidation and murder--? AS A CHRISTIAN SHOULD WE ALLOW THIS-?And last but not least, do you believe that Gaza and/or the West Bank are really part of Judea and/or Samaria-?TOTC

Judea and Samaria do not exist, you cannot annex something that isn’t there to annex !!!!
