I pay 44.00 dollars a month for plan D. That can change. My medicines are put into Tiers. That can change. Some I pay up to sixty dollars out of pocket. Then you say that medicare or someone else,( I've never understood who this someone else is).. pays the rest. It seems to me that if I'm paying the 44 dollars then, thats what I'm paying for medicare and this someone else to pick up the rest. Then when it comes time to add up my totals they also add what they paid or this other someone else paid into my out of pocket totals. WHY? I've paid the 44.00 for them to pick up the rest. Why are they adding it back on me? They are pushing us into the donut hole faster. We may save on the beginning but we get there so fast because you have set the price in your contracts with drug stores if they want to participate they obviously are accepting your price. So now I'm paying 44.00 plus my so called co-pay and then you add on what medicare or that other someone else supposedly pays. Look out Donut here I come. Well then forget much help at all because I never know what the price is going to be when I have prescriptions filled when I'm in the donut hole. Theres two of my medications not even on the list so thats full price anyway. If it wasn't for the castastrofic tier, Which I never reach. Thank God! I'm afraid one day I might . I don't know who thought up this complicated plan but I don't feel like I have much of a prescrition plan. Example Talking to a lady the other day who is on medicad She mentioned that she got her lydocane patches for her back for $ 1.02. I said I couldn't buy them because they charged me 200.00 dollars. That gap seems to be a little wide for me. I guess thats all I have to say. probably doesn't do any good to say it anyway.
