I have been retired for over 10 years, and my retirement and SS checks do not go nearly as far as in the past. With that in mind, I am very interested in finding a job I do from my home. I have over 30 years experience in the clerical field, with over 10 years experience as supervisor of the clerical department. I would really like to find something I can do from my home. My first thought would be something in the clerical field, but I am not going to limit myself. I considered a call center position, however, the only problem with that is the requirement to work a pre-set schedule, including holidays, and weekends. If possible, I would rather not work that type of schedule. While I was employed, I worked my share of holidays and weekends. Does anyone out there have any ideas, suggestions, advice for me? I hope to hear from someone soon, Thank you, garman77@comcast.net |

In Response to Re: Work at home opportunity: I am looking for a work at home opportunity. I have been retired for over 10 years now, and my retirement and SS checks do not go nearly as far as they did a few years ago. I have over 30 years experience in the clerical field, and over 10 years supervisory experience. My first thought would be a clerical opportunity, only because that is where most of my experience has been. However, I am not going to limit myself. I also considered a position with as a call center person. But those opportunities require a work schedule that requires you to work weekends and holidays. At my age, I would rather not work weekends or holidays. I did that before I retired. Does anyone out there have any ideas or advice they could provide for me.
