In Response to Re: Are you looking for a part-time job?: I would be interested in starting a home business using the internet 9Blogging, etc.) but don't know how to. Maybe there is someone out there who can help me (teach me) to get started... or even form a small group and work together. Any ideas? Posted by vince4953 Tuesday, March 13th at 10:00 a.m. ET, Jane speaks with ‘Your Life Calling’ guest Paul Giannone, who left a successful IT career to start a small business, and Ken Yancey, CEO of SCORE. Mr. Giannone left an information-technology career that he never loved and followed his passion for pizza, founding a Brooklyn restaurant, Paulie Gee’s. Ken Yancey is CEO of SCORE, one of the nation's leading advocates for small businesses, helping people start, build and maintain small business companies. In Response to Re: Are you looking for a part-time job?: In Response to Re: Are you looking for a part-time job? : I WOULD BE INTERESTED TO HEAR ABOUT HOW TO FIND LEGITIMATE HOME BASED BUSINESS WORK. I'M 54 YRS. OLD AND HAVE OVER 35 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING OUTSIDE THE HOME. THANK YOU! Posted by texasmunchkin I would also like to know more about a real life scam free home based business without a required initial "investment" or enrollment fee. That is absurd! I was scammed last year that ruined my bank account and am struggling horribly! I really need a legal trustworthy home based business somewhere. Please help! I am ONLY 57 years old and plan to be around a very very long time and get out of debt! I am a good hearted, dedicated hard working woman who is a survivor of domestic, sexual violence and workplace harassment (2x)and no matter how bad my chronic pain gets, I get going! I have grandchildren and want to be a big part of their lives too. Maybe I will meet a good hearted man someday that I don't need to depend on. Being independent is very important to me! A great job would certainly help! Send me whatever info you have! Thank you so much everyone just for being here!!

In Response to Re: Are you looking for a part-time job?: In Response to Re: Are you looking for a part-time job? : I hear your pain and I'm sure there are a lot of others on here who have their own experiences with veiled discriminatory practices! But what I found was that I could continue to beat myself up because job searching wasn't going anywhere or I could take what was happening and turn it around for myself and a lot of other folks. I have a home based business and I am always looking for talent to partner up with. I especially enjoy working with the more mature person and love helping others earn the level of income they are seeking. Feel free to contact me if you would like to take a look at what I am doing. You never know, it just might be the thing you have been looking for! Posted by mrslabel I am interested in your home business. |

In Response to Re: Are you looking for a part-time job?: Has anyone did a hobby and turned it into selling items? Posted by edogmom I retired in 2009 and not at age to rec'd S.S. so I sell at various functions. It . takes time and experience. I manufacture hats, scarves, and jewelry. Sometimes I find conventions for fourty dollars for two days. Some events are $20.00. Look at various churches and try to get your church to sponsor a bazaar and rent a table if it is reasonable. vcalibur@gmail.com
