I am interested in finding a "legitimate" job working at home.  There are many advertisements about taking courses leading tto $40K a year jobs.  The only problem is that after taking the course, you have to find some of the jobs for yourself.  It would be so helpful to me to not only have extra income, but most importantly, feel that I still have skills that would fill the needs of someone.

I am interested in finding an "at home" job where I can use my computer skills and help someone.  Primarily, I would like a jjob typing data or reports.  I am sure it would be more cost effective for the employer to have someone who does not require them to provide insurance and other benefits.

In Response to Re: Are you looking for a part-time job? : Yes. My husband and I once made unique wooden items such as toys, pouting seats, wall decor, etc. We sold these on consignment from a local speciaty shop called Colonial Hill House. However, we never pursued large-scale sales. We only did it in our spare time for a little extra income.

I was thinking about doing the same thing.  What is all involved with being legal with the IRS, city government, etc.????
Thank you.

I'd love to find some type of internet job................I'm a 68 year old female who lives in Florida and I'm so bored staying at home. I've applied for lots of jobs but nothing comes of it...........it's really frustrating. I know I certainly can use the money what with health care and medication where they are now it's scarey, so just want something to enjoy and make a little cash would be great.

Normally, in the private enterprises, its hard to get a job, but considering work for city or school, it may better and ,ore easy to get a part time there. I am currently work at school cafe and got the supplementary  income, plus they also has health insurance which is over the medicare, better deal and paid less then your supplement insurance.
