I would like to know if being married 9 years and 9 months i can get still get benifits? My stepson took me to probat court then filed a divorce petition so that it could remove me from any beniefits. I was denied when this happened 15 years ago, i got my nerves up in jan,of this year and applied a new claim the divorce question came up again so i told the agent that i will mail in my divorce papers. I am on pins and needled i got my pension but my step son took my life insurance and type of money, just want to know if some cases can be honored when you are short 90 days. The reason why i did another claim is because i went on line and read a piece on soc sec rights for women written by the wall street journal, and was told to e-mail soc sec and i did. they e-mailed me back and told me to call soc sec.I need help!!!!!
