|Democrats, Progressives & all who are interested in the vital securtiy net that Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid provides have got stop calling them "Entitlements". This subtle trick of wording implies "unearned payments" and is wrong. This wording used in the context of these programs weakens the national dialog about these programs that provide so much financial stability and strengthening to the lifes of millions of Americans. Furthermore a simple .25% increase in employee payroll with holding & .25% increase in employer payroll with holding would go a long way to resolving the funding for Social Security. This 1/4% funding stream applied with several other small impact options can turn Social Security into a funded program for centuries to come.|
