The Debt Ceiling wasn't discussed in the Fiscal Cliff Deal. The Republicans will take hostages again and we'll be in the fight of our lives to protect and preserve Social Security , Medicare and Medicaid. We ALL must contact our representatives and demand that they leave Social Security and Medicare Cuts off the table. Organizations like NCPSSM ( National Comm To Preserve Social Security and Medicare ), AARP, USACTION.org and others are also organizations that are fighting in our corner. We paid our dues and deserve to survive with dignity. Dont sit back and do nothing, unfortunately we have to fight for what we've earned !!! |

Yes. they should not even consider cutting anything in SS or Medicare. Something should be done for Seniors who do not take all those prescriptions but have to take out the Prescription insurance when we do not have to use it. It sure takes a lot out of our little SS income and for two people not even $1400.00 a month, yes, $30.00 taken out is a lot when its needed for other things in life, like food, supplements that keep us off presecriptions, gas for vehicles, utilities, just basic needs. Do not drink, smoke or got to movies, or any other kind of entertainment, can't afford it. |
