In Response to Dependent child benefits: My wife receives child support for her son (my stepson) who lives with us. In order for him to receive dependent child benefits when I retire, I must provide 50% of his support. Does the amount my wife receives in child support figure into the calculatiion as support received from another source? Posted by allenkahn Of course it does. |
