We grew up in Arizona.  Moved to Connecticut.  Retired to Arizona.  Loved the weather but hated the politics.  Moved back to Connecticut.  Love the seasons and prefer the politics.

I retired to Connecticut to be near many of our old friends (for my wifes sake)  .. I would have prefered to retire in Arizona.. Here in CT we have three inches of snow at 2:30 on Oct 29th.

We tried AZ but decided CT is better.

After living/working in Alaska for 36 years, I'm going to move to Montana for the spring, summer & fall and will head to a southern state in my RV for a couple months during the winter.Cool

It is not a state, it is a territory of the U.S.

I love it here in St. Croix.  It is warm all year long, and so beautiful!  If you adore crystal clear water for swimming, snorkeling, SCUBA, and sailing, this is meant for you.
